Children's Corner

Italians are known for their love of children, and at the Rome Cavalieri children of all ages are given a warm welcome. We want the hotel to be a fun place for youngsters, and we also hope to allow their parents some time to themselves.

Should you arrive with a baby or a toddler, we are happy to supply your room with a cot as well a changing table and nappy products. Bathrobes and slippers are provided in a variety of child’s sizes. Children's Menus

Even parents sometimes find it difficult to predict their children’s tastes. At the Cavalieri we have gone to some effort to produce special children’s menus. By presenting good food as ‘fun food’ we have managed to create healthy and balanced dishes for children that will have them asking for more.

Sunday Music Brunch

The Rome Cavalieri's famous Sunday Music Brunch is a family affair where children are central to the day. With a number of buffets to entice youngsters and special children’s menus to cater to their tastes, they will be happy to join the whole family at the 'big table';. But if parents and grandparents need a break, special food and activities are laid on by our children’s chaperones in a separate children's area.

In and Around Rome

Rome can be as fun for children as it is fascinating for adults. Our Concierge is able to provide information for numerous children's expeditions around the city. Villa Borghese, a beautiful park close to the centre, contains playgrounds, amusement rides, rental bicycles for all ages, a touring train, and a lake with rowing boats as well as a special children’s cinema, the smallest cinema in the world according to the Guinness Book of Records. On the north side of the park is the Bioparc or zoo while nearby is the Zoological Museum, ideal for young naturalists. Also close by is Explora, the Rome Children’s Museum, where children discover the mystery of how things function through observation, touch and experimentation. For those who like their activities more chaotic there are always the water parks of Acquapiper and Hydromania. For the bucket and spade brigade there are trips to Fregene, a fine beach barely thirty minutes away on the Tyrrhenian coast.
